The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is likely to issue group D result shortly. After the results are announced, the candidates will be able to check their results on the official website of RRB.

Recruitment examination for Group D posts was held from 17 September 2018 to 14 December 2018. All the 62909 vacancies are to be filled through this recruitment examination. On January 11, 2019, the reply key was issued for this examination and till 19 January 2019, the date of the objection was lodged.

Eligibility Criteria:

Maintainer
Matriculation plus two years ITI in any one of the following specific Engineering Trade: Electrician / Instrument Mechanic / Mechanic Radio and TV / Electronics Mechanics / Wireman / Fitter / Mechanic Computer Hardware / Mechanic – Industrial Electronics / Information Technology & Electronics System Maintenance / Mech. Communication Equipment Maintenance, Masonry, Carpentry, Building,Refrigeration and AC Mechanics Mechanic Mechatronics or equivalent qualification.

Junior Engineer (Systems)
Three years Engineering Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics Instrumentation & Control / Mechanical /Telecommunication / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer networking / Applied Electronics/ Digital Electronics/ Power Electronics/ Industrial Control or equivalent qualification.

Junior Engineer (Civil)
Three years Engineering Diploma in Civil or equivalent qualification

Section Engineers (Systems)
Engineering Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering / Mechanical / Telecommunication / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science or equivalent qualification.

Section Engineers (Civil)
Engineering Degree in Civil or equivalent qualification.

Examination Fee:
For SC/ ST candidates: Rs. 354 (including 18% GST)
For GM, Cat I, Cat IIa, Cat IIb, Cat IIIa, Cat IIIb candidates: Rs. 826/- (including 18% GST)

Age Limit as on (02-02-2019):
General Merit candidates: 35 years
SC/ ST/ Cat I candidates: 40 years
candidates under Cat IIa, IIb, IIIa, III b: 38 years

Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen is applicable as per rules.
