Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd - Power Grid Recruitment 2020 has released the job notification for the post of Executive Trainee – 25th Batch and Assistant Engineer Trainee through GATE 2019 for 110 vacancies. Candidates with the qualification of B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc in Electrical with valid GATE-2020 score can apply for Executive Trainee post and B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc in Electrical/ Electronics/ Civil through GATE 2019. Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) from recognized University/ Institute i. AET (Electrical), Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical) ii. AET (Electronics), Electronics / Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Electrical Communication / Telecommunication Engg
iii. AET(Civil),Civil Engineering. Minimum 60 % or Equivalent CGPA

Pay Scale : Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.40,000/- -3%- 140000(IDA) during the one-year training period. They shall be paid a stipend in the form of Basic Pay of Rs. 40,000/- alongwith IDA, HRA and Perks @12% of basic pay during training period. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Engineers in E2 scale - Rs. 50,000/- 3%- 1, 60,000/- (IDA).

Age Limit: 28 years

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:

• For OBC (NCL) candidates: 3 years
• For SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• For PwD candidates: 10 years over and above
• J&K Domicile / ExServicemen/ Victims of riots: As per Govt. of India directives

Application Fees : Rs. 500/- If you are not exempted from payment of application fees (only SC/ST/PwD/ ExSM/ Departmental candidates are exempted)

Selection Procedure :  The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the relevant paper of GATE 2019, Group Discussion and Personal Interview, Eligible candidates should have qualified and secured a valid score in the corresponding paper of GATE 2019. Candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Group Discussion and Personal Interview based on their normalized marks out of 100 in GATE 2019.
