New Govt Jobs: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has declared a total of 114 vacancies in posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil). Under this, 31 posts in the building construction department and 83 posts in the water resources department will be made. 35% posts in the overall posts are reserved for women. Also for the financially backward class, there will also be 10 per cent reservation. The Commission has invited applications from eligible candidates for these posts online. Interested and qualified candidates will be able to register till 02 April 2019. Benefits of all types of reservation will be available only to native residents of Bihar State Candidates from other states will be considered in the unreserved category and eligible to apply in this category. Pay Scale: According to Level 9 and along with grade-pay 5400 rupees

Age Range :
- Minimum 21 and maximum 42 years
- The maximum age limit for male candidates of reserved category is 37 years.
Maximum age limit for women candidates of reserved category is 40 years.
Maximum age for male and female candidates of backward class and extremely backward classes is 40 years.
- Maximum age for male and female candidates of Scheduled Castes and ST category is 42 years.
- The boundary will be calculated on the basis of 01 August 2018.

Selection Process
- Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of competition examination organized by the Commission.
- This examination will be six papers which will be multi-faceted.
In this, there will be 100 marks questions from the question paper and the total will be 600.
First question paper, general English, second general Hindi, third general study and fourth general engineering.
-Fifth and sixth question paper will be of alternative subject.
The marks of General English and General Hindi Question Paper will not be included in the merit list, but it will be mandatory to pass these.

Application fee
- Rs. 750 for general category candidates
- 200 rupees for SC, ST and women candidates for Native resident of Bihar.
- 200 rupees for candidates of Dewang category.
- The fee will be paid online through online.

How to Apply:
- Login to the website (www.bpsc.bih.nic.in) Here you will find an Important Notice, Advertising and Instruction for Filling Online Application for Assistant Engineer (Civil) In Various Department (Adv. No. 01/2019) on the homepage.
- Click on the Advertisement option in this link. This will open the ad related to the post.
- Read it well and check your eligibility according to your position.
- Then click on the 'Apply Online' tab on the left side of the homepage. Now a new webpage will open. Click on the 'BPSC Online Application' link given here.
- In this way a webpage related to online will open. Here you will find the 'Online Registration' and 'Login' tabs.
- First click on the 'Online Registration' tab. Now click on the 'Apply' button in front of the application form.
- This will open the registration page. Check ad number here. Then enter the requested information and click the 'Submit' button.
- Now the applicant will receive an e-mail. This will include the applicant's user name, password and login link. After this, 'Login' with the help of User Name and Password.
- Now click on the 'Click for Download Invoices' button at the bottom left of the dashboard. Print it out and pay the fixed fee.
- Login again after this. Now enter the information requested in various boxes made in the 'update invoice details' at the bottom of the dashboard and click on the 'subsit' button.
- Login again after 24 hours after submitting your invoice details. Now click on the 'Click for Application Form' button.
- By doing so, the application form will open. Now enter the remaining details here. Also upload your passport size photograph and signature scan Both of these files should be in JPG / JPEG format.
- Then click on the 'Preview' button to check the completed application.
- If there is some improvement in the form then
When all information is correct, finally click on the 'submit' button.
- After this, login the applicant again to ensure that the 'click for application form' button has been deleted from the dashboard.
- Now click on the 'Download Forms' tab that is available here. By doing so, your completed form will be downloaded. Remove its printout.
- Now send the certificates with the photocopies of the requested documents to the fixed address through the post till the due date.
