• Constables and Fireman: Matriculation / 10th Class Pass OR 12th Pass OR 10+2 in any stream passed from a Government Recognized Board.

• Excise Sub Inspectors: Minimum Graduate / Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from Govt. recognized institute or university.

Age Limit:

• Constables and Fireman: Minimum 10th Class / Matric / 10+2 pass in any subjects from a government recognized board Age relaxation as per Government rules.

• Excise Sub Inspectors:(as on 01/01/2018)

Scale of Pay: 

• Constables and Fireman: Pay Band-1 ₹ 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay ₹ 2000/-.
• Excise Sub Inspectors: ₹ 9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay ₹ 4200/-

Examination Fee: ₹ 450/- for General (UR) / OBC and other state candidates; ₹ 112/- for Bihar state SC / ST category candidates. The fee should be made through online payment using credit / debit card or internet banking etc.

Selection Mode : Written Examination, Physical Standard Test and Interview.
